I check the on Monday and there was availability but when I went back to check on Tuesday it had gone from both resorts for a studio. Think the night of 14th August is the problem.

There is availability with Complete Orlando at OKW, however we would prefer SSR and if want to change anything they charge an admin fee for the resort change and any dates. I know Disney do charge a bit more but I don't mind paying that little extra for the flexibility.

Worst case we will have to book with Complete Orlando.....going to wait until after xmas then book...then possibly they may have opened up some more rooms!!..

Eek. You should have taken my advice from your other thread- if you had booked, you would have had a 'cooling off' period in which you could have cancelled it if you needed to (without a cancellation fee).

I don't really understand why availability keeps coming and going. As soon as you see it again, BOOK! ;)

Free DDP offer runs out 31st Dec. I wonder if they will then continue the offer and add more rooms. Difficult choice for you.

Thank you disney-princess. I did manage to call them they didn't have the availability. The CM said if it was available to most they hold them for is 24 hours. So if I'd booked initially and decided to cancel I wouldn't have been charge a fee??....

Yeap your right as soon as I see it I will book it!!....

Thank you again.

Hmmm.....we'll have to decide really soon!!!

Thank you for all your prompt replies.

OMG!!! OMG!!!....

I've just booked!!!....

I went again as it's an obession for the last couple of days and guess what!!...The earliest date we could have gone became available so I just went ahead and booked.....I left one window opened as I wanted to try Quidco.......it all worked!!....we would like to go a bit later if we can and stay if SSR if all becomes available....but at the moment I'm not fussed I'm just glad we have something!!...

Thank you all for your help and putting up with me....

Great news.
What dates did you get?

We are going out on the 3rd and returning on the 15th. Ideally we were looking out going out on the 10th never mind as travelling out on the 3rd wasn't working out for us yesterday.

i've decided not to book now and hope that they offer something closer to the date...
everything is just too up in the air right now..
i don't know if DS and DDIL will have time off..
and the flights are crazy expensive for us...the cheapest i can find is $1600/person RT - for six people that really breaks the bank...

i have this crazy idea that there may be some last minute thing....since we're looking at sept it's possible i suppose...

i just tried miami instead of orlando and found flights for 1/3 less!!!
wow...what a difference..

I know a few have flown into Miami the past year or so. We considered it this last August many paid about £400 return, it was the best deal around for August. I also considered Virgin into Miami M&M economy out Upper return for about £900.
Also check Tampa, we flew into there last August and again next Feb, better prices and flight times, not much further than MCO.

i think i'm going to do everything last minute and see what happens..
we're planning on september - so theoretically there might be last minute deals, since that's offpeak....

i just played with a last minute travel site to see what's available and i came up with a continental airlines deal for march that's much cheaper...£550 instead of £850....so that's saving £300 per person or £1800 for the 6 of us....that's a significant difference..
so i guess i''m going to have to keep checking the site and see what comes up...

i've never worried about prices before, but i just can't see us being able to handle that big of an expense just now....i'm used to paying for 4, not 6...and fitting us all in one room, not 3.....it really makes everything difficult...
i feel badly for people with big families...i can't see how they can ever afford to do disney...
