What a mess.
But boy is he cute.

I'm reading Joe Torre's new book and he has quite a bit to say about Arod. He is handsome as the devil but convinced himself that everything was always OK even when it wasn't. Joe says he just didn't get it.

At least he has came out & said he did it. The other ~140 players whos names have not been released yet are just makeing everyone else be questioned if they were doping.

Selig is an idiot & needs to just release all the names & move on. Players will always have that question of doubt about them until all the names are released.

He has alot of problems mentally. When he and his wife were still together, she even said he needs help.

There's 103 other names on that list-guys that could come out right now and say-"yep, I did it during those years too". I'm not holding my breath waiting for any of them to do it though.

I think it's going to get to a point where the entire era has an asterisk on it.

My bad, thought I heard 140 yesterday.

ARod is a disaster. He just gets himself into one mess after another.

Hey, you may be right. I just thought it was 104 total. No matter which, if there was that large a number that tested positive, how many were using and didn't get caught?

What did he do wrong? The steroids? Everybody takes them, but only some get busted for it. They should make steroids legal, they really aren't that bad for you, especially if you take them under a coach's supervision. If steroids were allowed in sports, nothing would change except all the deceit.

I'm assuming this has to be sarcasm.

Seriously, steroids aren't that bad for you. Watch the recent documentary Bigger, Stronger, Faster. That movie makes a strong case for legalizing steroids.

Steroids are bad for you only when you abuse them, but the same can be said for alcohol or ice cream. I think steroids are abused because most users have no guidance, and there is no guidance because they are illegal.

And isn't that the greatest argument to any subject? "Everybody's doing it":sad2:

If my husband left me for Madonna and I knew he had done steroids I'd have leaked info to the media... did his ex tell or did it come out some other way?

At least he has came out & said he did it..

Um, that's not what happened.

He lied to the Katie Couric on 60 mins and said he had never done them before.

He didn't admit to anything until busted by Sports Illustrated....he hardly just "came out and said he did it"

Only once caught in his lie, did he start to fess up to anyone about it.

And he could have continued to deny it, but he didnt. I dont support what he did, I just want the others to be named & baseball can move on.

Yes, baseball can move on, but baseball players will continue to take steroids. They will just come up with new ways to beat the tests. Wouldn't you take steroids if it guaranteed you a contract that paid you in the tens of millions?
