Hello! My husband recently bought our tickets on base in Tucson. They are e-tickets which the person who was working in ITT then told my husband to take the straight to the gate, not the booth. The e-tickets also state to take them to the turnstiles no need to wait in line at Will Call or the Guest relations booth. I read on a reputable site which Disney even links on their page allot the armed forces salute, that the tickets actually have to be activated prior to entering the parks, so we would need to go to a booth to show Military ID. after reading that, I called Disneyland guest relations for clarification and was told to take them straight to the gate. Which is it? Has anyone been there recently who has used the armed forces salute and bought tickets ahead of time on a base? Did you take your e-ticket to a booth prior to entering the parks or did you just go to the gate?

we have used the Armed Forces Salute twice now and yes, you do go right to the gate. Have your husband bring his ID. Allow some extra time as they do take your picture for ID purposes. it is a very easy process

Hi agree with brucefan. We've used military passes a lot and you get to go right to gate. You'll then need proof of id and on your way you go!

Thank you so much! That's a relief to know. did they issue the plastic ticket there also? Or did you have to keep the paper one?

I'm glad to know I won't need to stand in line at the booths lol

It's a paper ticket that you will keep the whole trip. But really, it's more like thick card stock; it's not thin, easily ripped paper.

Quick question, if it's the 3-day pass with park hopper, do you get the extra magic morning bonus?

You don't get the extra magic morning, at least they didn't give it to us when we went last March. The gate cast member told us salute tickets don't count even though they are three day park hoppers.
