Sorry this is going to be a long winded question.

According to Disneyland and Disney World websites, you are allowed up to 6 total Armed Force Salute tickets. Now is this 6 tickets for each park (Disneyland and Disney World) or 6 total for both parks combined? My situation is that my best friend (a military spouse) and I will be going to Disneyland after the Star Wars Celebration this spring, and we want to use the Armed Forces Salute tix. But we, along with her husband and kids (and perhaps two more friends), are also going to WDW this September and obviously we want to use the discounted tickets.

I called both Disneyland and Disney World and it was obvious they never had that question before, which is cool, and they said it will most likely be separate. Six for Disneyland and six for Disney World. Which would be awesome. This is due to the fact that they are separate resorts, with different pricing, etc. But, I'm hoping some has had a similar experience with this, and can tell me for sure. Or if they have any other words of wisdom they can add. Thanks!

They are put into the system as military tickets.. If both parks use the same system then no.. My brother, who is stationed on the west coast got 3 tickets for WDW and 3 tickets to DL but I'm sure they tried to get 6 and then 6....

Ok, thanks for the info. Hopefully it's separate :) If not we can deal with it.

This doesn't really help you - but I asked the same question at the Base recreation ticket sales office, as we are also taking a fall trip to Disneyland after our spring WDW trip. She started to look for the answer, but then realized that our trip was in October, so it was the next fiscal military year, so said it didn't matter. The fiscal year would start the ticket record keeping over.

My experience was a few years ago, but yes....you can purchase the salute tickets separately at each park. We went to Disneyland in May and bought 5 tickets. In September of that same year my mom, kids and I went to WDW and bought 4 salute tickets down there. The Disneyland CM's information was that their ticketing systems are not joined together and using the discount at both parks is allowed. We had no issues with the second purchase in FL.

Now, things could be different, but at that time I was told DL did not sell them at the gate. We ordered them from the MWR at Camp Pendleton and they were mailed to us. My DH is USAR and we don't live near a base. So you might want to check if they are available there now or if you need to buy them before your trip.

regards

The ticketing systems at DLR and WDW are not connected. You should see the convolutions just for the Disney Premier Passport, which is valid at both. You can get the six AFS tickets at both DLR and WDW with no problems.
