Ariel's Princess Lunch - how many princesses usually attend?

Oh yeah, I wouldn't recommend the chicken an biscuit pot pie. I ordered that and hated it. To the point that I actually returned it and got something else. The server said that the they have lots of problems with it and only about 1 in 5 people even likes it. DBF said the burger was simply just a burger, nothing fancy.

So it seems that the food is just ok. What about the ambience? Is the restaurant especially beautiful or something? Is this a restaurant that we should make a point to visit? If anyone has any pictures of what Ariel's Grotto looks like on the inside and outside I would love to see them.

We went for dinner and we saw Ariel at check in, Cinderella, Mulan, Belle, and Snow White... I had been hoping for Aurora... was really bummed...

Ya our food was all pretty awful... My salmon blt was ok but the roll was too big, DH said his fish and chips tasted like cheap frozen fish, the penne pasta was too spicy according to my friend and her bf said his chicken caesar salad didn't have enough dressing. The service was pretty terrible... My friend asked for another sprite and they never brought it. At Blue Bayou we had like 4 sodas on the table cuz they just kept bringing them... plus they charge gratuity on all parties... I know for dang sure our server didn't deserve the 17 dollar tip that was automatically charged to my bill and we certainly didn't tip her anything else...

What are the best two? My DD is 7 (almost 8) and DS is 6

You may want to post that question on another thread to elicit more responses. Personally, I'm not a fan of any of them, with the exception of Storyteller's, and that's just because I love the atmosphere and food.

I've heard great things about Goofy's kitchen. We were going to go to Minnie's. but didn't wake up on time.

At Ariel's I wasn't happy about the tip being add (for a party of two), but it was what she deserved, especially since she got me a new entree. We also didn't have a problem with getting extra drinks or changing one of our dessert orders. The ambience is okay, the main reason to do the dinner would be for the princesses. If not, you may end up waiting for well over an hour at the Princess Faire. I enjoyed it but probably wouldn't go again for dinner. A breakfast maybe if I had a child with me.

When each one of the princesses comes out. They each come over to your table for pictures. The light in my DD's eyes was priceless. I would do it again or sure and will next year when we go back.

Sorry, no kids here. Just a bunch of grown up character loving adults.

when we were there last Sept. We saw Ariel (obviously), Cinderella, Snow White, Belle and Wendy Darling. My daughter LOVES Cinderella and she was star struck when she saw her...it was very sweet and funny. Oh DD is 4. princess:

I also thought the food was good, but nothing to write home about. I had fish & chips and DS3 had mac & cheese. They served the mac & cheese with a cute 'fishie' theme by sprinkling goldfish crackers on top and a hotdog shaped like an octopus splayed out on top. Normally my DS loves all three of those things, but he wouldn't touch any of it because of the octopus, even after I told him it was just a hotdog and cut it up into bite-sized pieces.

I will say this, though; the decor in the restaurant is gorgeous! Not all pinks and purples like I'd feared a princess meal might entail, but beautiful sea greens. I loved the chandeliers especially, the big curving staircase, the huge windows overlooking the water. Even the bathroom is pretty with big golden frames surrounding the mirrors.

When we were there for breakfast 3 weeks ago, we saw Ariel (at check-in, with legs, just for a photo op), Cinderella, Snow White, Aurora and Belle. I think it's always the same number, but sometimes they mix in Jasmine, Mulan or Princess Minnie.

These were all the same princesses we saw last week when we were there.

I have pictures---but I've never uploaded a picture before---heres a try.

We were there last weekend (feb. 28th) for lunch. We saw Ariel, Snow White, Cinderella, Alice, and the Fairy Godmother. We also had dinner at Goofy's kitchen while we there which I thought was fantastic. We were there on a Wednesday night, and it wasn't very busy, so the characters were able to interact a bit more. We met Minnie on the way in, and then Goofy, Chip (or was it Dale) and Cinderella and Jasmine. Goofy also did a couple dances while we were there, and my girls loved that. The only downfal to them both, was them wanting 30 dollars for the picture they took with us and Minnie, and the one with us and Ariel. I wasn't expecting it to be that expensive, and I never took one with minnie with our own camera, so I was a little bummed

The food at Goofy's was so good, it was a buffet, with so many options for both adults and kids.
I had the pasta at Ariels and was not dissapointed either. They were both so fun, but my girls (4 & 2) found the princesses a little overwhelming I think.
