Can anyone who has been recently tell me how many princessess attended their lunch/dinner? My DD wants to bring a small gift for each princess (usually a rose) and I want to be sure to bring enough.

Thankss:thumbsup2

When we were there for breakfast 3 weeks ago, we saw Ariel (at check-in, with legs, just for a photo op), Cinderella, Snow White, Aurora and Belle. I think it's always the same number, but sometimes they mix in Jasmine, Mulan or Princess Minnie.

Sounds like it is the same number.........we saw the same princesses as DangerMouse, except for us it was Princess Minnie instead of Snow White.

yeah I think there is always ariel at the beginning and then 4 princesses come around

We were told last year when we made ADR's that there would be 5 princess' but they will not tell you who will be there. My niece really wanted to see Cinderella and she was the last to come out. We are going again in May and can hardly wait. It was the high light of the trip to see her face when each princess came to our table....and the food was good too.

This was the line-up when we went as well. But I think we may have been there around the same time? We were there on Feb. 8th. :)

With two little boys I'm not sure I'll ever have the chance to see the princesses at Ariel's again, but sure would have been cool to see Mulan, we have not met her yet!

We had 5 princess when we went. I really miss how cute it was with the other disney characters dressed up in sailor outfits.

Has anyone been there for dinner? Are the same number of Princesses there at dinner?

In November we saw five princesses (plus Ariel at the entrance): Belle, Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty and Princess Minnie.

Thanks for all the answers - it looks like there should be 5 there. We'll be sure to have enough gifts for each of them. Will either bring a rose or some scented lotions for them.

Thanks again!

When we went, there were 6 princesses. We were told that we would see five but when we got there, we saw.....Ariel, Cinderella, Belle, Aurora, Snow White, and Mulan (although, I'm not convinced she's a "princess"....that's not to say we don't love her).

Are the princesses only there at a certain time or are they there all day? I have reservations for 1:20 and want to make sure they will be there or I'll have to change it.

We went to Ariel's Grotto at DCA in June 2006 (for my kids' 6th and 7th birthdays) and saw 5 princesses. The children loved it!

The princesses are there as long as the restaurant is open. They rotate out, one at a time -- about every 10-15 minutes. You will get to see them, that's really what you're paying for. . .

What would be the best way to get advance reservations... I'm clueless

I know it's a character meal but is the food good at Ariel's? We love character meals so that would be an added bonus for us but how is the food? We've already decided on Minnie & Friends for breakfast one day and Goofy's for dinner one night because they've got such good reviews. I haven't read too much on Ariel's.

and it was order straight from the menu. No buffet. The food was decent. The price not so decent but really you are paying for the ambience.(SP)

Call Disney Dining...714-781-3463. You can call as early as 60 days out. I just made ours last week for our trip next week.:scared: We've been busy with the remodel and moving into our new place. Pickings were slim, but we got in. The time is not as big a deal to us since my kid is a teenager.

We had 5 princesses at dinner too. Ariel at the bottom of the stairs, Aurora, Snow White, Belle, and Cinderella.

My burger was good, the salad was salad, my DD's salmon was good, dessert was, well, I'd honestly have to say I've had better. It wasn't bad though. It's a bit pricey but worth it IMO. I think I have some food pics if anyone wants to see.

We were just there on Sunday night and saw five princesses: Ariel (at the beginning), Cinderella, Mulan, Snow White, and Aurora. It was the first time in my whole life that I have seen Cinderella (aside from parades and shows) and she was the whole reason I booked the dinner.
