We are going in May and this our first time to Disneyland or should I say Disney anything. We are flying in on the friday and as a surprise we are going to tak our 6 year DD to Ariel's Grotto.

The whole trip is a surprize and since we live far away she doen't know much about Disneyland. So we thought this would be a great introduction

If you were booking a table where would you book inside or outside. We will be dining Friday May 8th also what will be a good time to book. We have a very early morning flight arriving Anaheim at noon ish. Thinking a supper meal

Thanks

Inside is nice because they announce each princess as she comes out. Not sure that they do that outside.

Also, one of the nice things about eating outside is that you overlook the lagoon, and right now it is dried and there is construction going on.

So, you'll have a better atmosphere inside.

Thanks for the quick reply, no when booking is there a specific table you can request or do they just sit you where ever.

Is there a better time to go or are they all the same

I agree...sit inside. Its so cute inside and it makes you feel like you are under the sea. I love when they announce each Princess and you also get to see the crier and family who gets to open the "box". Sitting inside it worth it to me. I don't think I would want to sit outside. Not only is the lagoon under construction, but the weather can be too hot at times.

Outside is the patio.

Inside is a decorated room and all around you is decorations and things happening. The waitress will have less distance to get to the kitchen and personally I loved both times I was inside as there was dancing, announcements, and princesses all around. They have tables inside but some are booths.:thumbsup2

If I was making a PS I'd go inside. The interior is fun and your DD will love it. Sitting outside is fine too, they have a border up around the patio fence so you can't see into the lagoon while sitting at your table, it's a couple dollars cheaper outside as well. They do announce the Princesses inside and you can hear it outside so you will know who just entered the dining room but there's something really neat about sitting inside. They also do a little demonstration with the kids and they do it both inside & out. For your DD's first trip tho, I'd definitely spend the extra $2 a person and sit inside. :)

ooh, taking notes. do i have to ask for inside when i make the PS?

I don't think so, every time we've had PS we've been inside, we only get outside is we are walk ups.
