Hi - we finally have a little princess along for a trip, so we're planning our first princess character meal. I'm a little confused on the information I'm finding on Ariel's grotto and was hoping someone here could help unconfuse me.

1. Are breakfast, lunch, and dinner all character meals?
2. Can you still get a package with reserved seating for World of Color?

Thanks!

1. Yes
2. No

I know this is a short answer so if you have any other questions let me know :)

We did WOC dinner package at Ariel's Grotto in May and it was NOT a character meal. I believe character meals were breakfast and lunch only and WOC package was at dinner but I think it has changed all together since WOC package is now at Carthary Circle. So maybe they offer character meals at dinner now?

I know lunch is character, but I don't know about other meals, and No, Ariel's doesn't offer WOC passes anymore--Carthay and WCT.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all character meals now. Ariel's Grotto no longer offers the WOC dining package. Which makes me sad :( Oh well, guess I'll just have to try Carthay now :lmao:

Does anyone know the current prices for Ariel's Grotto? (everywhere I've looked has just shown a range of prices, not very helpful)
Also, where can I find the hours for these meals?

Allearsnet has the menus and prices. Ariel's is a set price that include appetizers, entree, dessert, and soda. Appetizers and desserts are served family style so everyone can have a taste and share. Entrees are ordered separately for lunch and dinner.

uh wait a minute when I recently made a reservation for Ariel's (not a WOC package) I was told/reminded that only lunch meals have the princesses.

Since we seem to disagree on this it might be best to ask a CM.

THe thing we do agree on is that Ariel's no longer does WOC dining packages, BUT you can still get WOC dinner packages at Wine COuntry Tarrai (oh heck I am not going to spell it correctly) and Carthay Circle restaurant

so confused I called again today and was still told that characters are only there at lunch

Wonder where the CM you're talking to is located?! Even Disneyland's official website, notorious for being vague, says that "Character dining at Ariel's Grotto is available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner", and even before they got rid of the WOC dinner, breakfast was always a character meal.

Eeek I hope that is just a mistaken CM..have Ariels dinner res and DD will be so disappointed if there are no princesses

Does anyone know what time breakfast at Ariel's Grotto starts? Can you get into the park before the 8am open if you have earlier reservations (for example 7 am)?

We've done this in the past for breakfast reservations at Disneyworld, but can't find any similar info for DL or DCA.

We had dinner at Ariel's on Monday night, it was with the princesses.

Ariels IS a character meal for dinner, we were there just 11 nights ago! :) Carthay Circle was where we had our delicious dinner for the WOC tickets, but they are available at Wine country as well.

We just ate there Saturday night, we paid $37.99 for adults and $21.99 for the kids, $35 for a bottle of Merlot that was just ok and I had a white sangria for $8.50. Soda, iced tea, water is included.

I know this post is older but wanted to confirm that this CM was incorrect, it's a character meal all day long. We had the standard 5 Princesses come to our table Saturday night. :)
