Ariel's Grotto Closure- Feb?

I tried to book Ariel's Grotto for Feb 9th and was unable to online. I called dining and she told me (after looking it up, she didn't seem to know beforehand) that it is under refurbishment. I didn't think about it at the time, so later I emailed and asked if the Princesses would be dining elsewhere. I got a form reply that I was asking about a refurbishment schedule more than 6 weeks in advance so they could not confirm a refurbishment. My total guess is it is down in correlation with the WOC refurb.

I reserved for Storyteller's, but does anyone have any more info? In previous refurbs of AG, have the princesses been elsewhere? I was thinking Wine Country Trattoria could work as an alternate. This was high up on our list for my just under 3 year old DD.

I don't have any information about Ariel's Grotto, but I did look and they're taking reservations through Sunday, February 1 and then nothing comes up after that. So, it could be tied to the WoC refurbishment; perhaps that is when they'll be working on the equipment closest to the Grotto. It could also be that they're planning something there, so they're holding off on releases the reservation times (like they did just before they announced the new F! Dining Packages at Blue Bayou). I scanned through older character meal threads, but I couldn't find anything that indicated if the princesses appeared elsewhere if Ariel's Grotto wasn't open. Or it could be a system glitch. I would keep checking to see if they open/release the February dates. Good luck!
