The 3 times we went to Ariels Grotto we saw:
Every time:
Ariel
Cinderella
Belle (yellow dress)
Jasmine
Snow White
Sometimes:
Princess Aurora
Mulan
One time:
Princess Minnie (was too cute!)
We ate at Goofy's once and saw Mad Hatter, Goofy, Baloo and Pluto. The character interaction was terrible (only Baloo and Mad Hatter came over to us!) and the food was hard and cold. And it was $85 for 2 adults, 2 kids. OUCH!! Now, Ariel's Grotto we LOVED!! The food is hot and tastes fresh, EVERY character comes to your table, everything is beautifully choreagraphed. Like, Ariel comes out first, visits maybe 2 or 3 tables and then Cinderella comes out and visits 2 or 3 tables and then Jasmine comes out, etc. They all keep going down the line so everyone gets private time with each character. Our family prefers this character meal over Goofys because 1. it's SOOOOO hard to find Princesses at DL nowadays (I know they have the Princess Fantasy Faire now, but from what I have heard, LOOOOOOONG lines!) and 2. the food was good and you left full. Lots of choices and they are willing to accomodate special requests. (For example, I went with my Grandparents last May, just me, my DDalmost3, and my grands, and my grandpa canNOT eat after 4pm because he has an esophogial tear and gets terrible acid reflux. I didn't know this and our reservation was for 5. OOPS! Well, pops orders a milkshake, which is NOT on the menu and they make it for him, huge and delicious, and no problems!! Amazing!!!!)
We have done breakfast at Plaza Inn every year and (2 years of Pooh, 1 year of Princesses, and this coming trip, Minnie & Friends) handsdown, I give my approval to Ariels Grotto.
Have a great time!!
