Thinking about booking dinner here as the food sounds pretty good. However it's just my DH and I, and I see their are princessess. Any opinions of the place would be awesome :goodvibes

We had lunch at AG during our last trip in April and it was, by far, our favorite meal we had...and too much food too. I could barely sample any desserts by the end. I say go for it!

I've been to Ariel's Grotto twice before, the second was much better than the first although there was about a 9 year time lapse in between! :lmao: I do like Ariel's Grotto, but I like Trattoria much more myself!

I'd say go for it. If you ask for a table outside, you'll still have the princesses walk by, but it won't be as noisy and busy with cute little girls.

We did AG in '09 and '11. Everyone in our party loved the food except for me. I am a very finicky eater, but in a weird way. I love junk food. I hate fancy restraunt style meals, so I am sure it will be fine for you.

AG is really about the princesses though. If you do not want to get some quality time with the princesses you are probably better off at one of the Downtown Disney restraunts.

We are going to go for it. We have never liked any of the restaurants at DT Disney and I love to try new things. Thanks for the tip for sitting outside, sounds lovely.

If you want to see the princesses and you don't want to wait in line, this is a great way to do it.

The food is very good, all of it, although, I think it's much more expensive than it should be for the quality of the food.

Unless we have a little girl, we probably won't go back. It was an excellent way to meet the princesses, but like I said, we felt like it was more expensive than it ought to have been (even by Disney standards.)

My DH and I ate here in July. Me=Disney nut, him, not so much. DH is also a picky eater, won't eat things on a bone, and no seafood. Well, he had the chicken, and I had the tri-tip. He is still talking about how good it was! And the tri-tip was excellent. I prepped him in advance on what the meal choices would be, so he was prepared. He thought all the Princesses were beautiful (although he thought Snow White was a bit thin, lol) We had all of them sign our autograph book, and he was the trooper in taking my pic with Belle (my favorite Princess). But wow oh wow that meal was expensive! It was roughly $95 for both of us, and we didn't order any alcohol. I buy the character meal vouchers though, and in this instance it was worth it. (Ariel's is considered a Premium Character Meal, and the voucher does cover tax and tip.)

I should add we had a late lunch reservation, around 2:30, and it wasn't super crowded. I'm glad we were inside, because it was super hot when we were there.

I agree. I went with my CM DD on a day when she got 50% off all food in DCA so we thought it would be a great opportunity to try it. While I think the food was worth the price at 50% off I would not go at full price--unless you have those in your party who want to meet all the princesses. If you do want to meet the princesses then this is a great way to do it--no lines. If you're just going for the food, I don't think it's worth it at full price.

We have been to AG every time we visit DCA and have had a good time and thought the food was good each time. Of course it's overpriced but then aren't most things at Disney overpriced? Still worth it, IMO. Some of the cutest pics my sister has of her husband are with Disney Princesses.
