Ariels Character Breakfast

I know this has been talked about but I can't find it, sorry to repeat.

What is the character interaction like at the breakfast? Do you just meet her at the door and thats it or does she come around? Also what if you sit outside?

You only meet Ariel at the beginning as you are waiting to be seated... After that you won't see her again! The first few times we did the breakfasts we had various different princesses, Mulan, Pocahontas, Princess Minnie... On our 2 most recent trips to Ariels for breakfast Oct 2008 and Feb 2010 we had the exact same princesses which were the big 4... Cinderella, Snow White, Aurora and Belle. I don't know if they changed to only the big 4 because of the whole "Disney Princesses" marketing scheme or if it was just a coincidence... I didn't check recently who was there on our other trips when we didn't eat at Ariels...

As far as seating outside.... The princesses will circle around the main dining room first then proceed outside... Unlike other character meals, where it is a free for all with the characters, the princesses do stop by every table on a preset pattern so you are sure to meet each one!

Yes, you only meet Ariel on your way in, you will stop, chat with her, have photos done (with your camera and by a PP) and then be seated. After you are seated 4 other Princesses come to your table, chat with you, sign autograph books (which Ariel does as well), do photos and move on. Each Princess comes to each table so there is no chance of missing anyone (that happened to us at GK, characters kept walking by and waving but not stopping..and we had 2 small children with us that got excited and waved back every time they saw them). On your way out you will pass by Ariel again but you will not stop to talk to her.

ETA, we have seen the standard Snow White, Cinderella, Belle & Aurora most of our times dining there, but we have also been lucky enough to catch Pocahontas and Mulan once. That was very exciting! We prefer eating there for lunch, the menu is better for our family and honestly, we don't "do" bfast all that much.
