Ariel Ride?

Does anyone know if the new Ariel ride at DCA and the new Ariel ride at MK will be the same? Similar? I know the one in MK is expected to open 2012...does anyone know the expected grand opening date for DCA?

If Ariel in DCA is opening in 2011, then I may have to create my own "Land and Sea" and do a 7-night Mex Riviera cruise + 5 nights at Disneyland. Decisions, decisions. My DD5 loves WDW, but has never seen DL...WoC and Ariel may tip me to checking out the west coast Disney experience again.

The way I hear them talk about planning it, I assumed it was different. But then I only just found out that WDW had an Ariel ride. Still, I haven't heard them say it was a copy of WDW so I think not.

Not only do we have the new Little Mermaid ride coming but also Cars Land in 2012. Add that to WOC and DCA will be the place to be!

Oh, I just saw your question about grand opening of DCA. It is open now. The entire project is supposed to be completed by summer of 2012. Guess we'll see how how on time they are. So far, it seemed to go pretty good, WOC opened a few months later than planned.
