Hi everyone:

How is the Ariel Dinner? I am thinking about going with the family (DH and 2 boys) for my birthday. Is it worth it? How is the food?

Thanks!

Kim :)

I like it, and think it's really neatly themed. I usually go everytime I visit. I have a PS for my upcomming visit. The food is good, and it's a 3 course meal. You get an Antipasto tower. That has mozzerella, salami, fresh veggies, tope tier is Gems from the sea (also known as, Jello squares with fresh fruit) These are pretty good actually, bottom tier is salad. You then get to choose an entree, and they have greatly improved from a few years ago from burgers and such. Now you can get seafood ciappino, tri tip (excellent), Roasted chicken (excellent), a pasta dish, a grilled fish I forget the kind, and I think maybe 1, or 2 other choices. After the entrees they bring you out desserts family style. They go by how many are in the party as sto how much of each to put on the platter. The desserts are GREAT, and you get an assortment of Seahorse molten cake this has a white chocolate Ariel on the top, Chocolate Chip cookie bars, Rocky Road Bars, little cheesecake tarts that is topped with a fresh raspberry, and a big white chocolate conch shell filled with blackberries, strawberries, raspberries. This I usually have them box, and it holds up well. I usually enjoy this later in the room.

Don't forget the breads/dips, those are sooooooooooo good!!!! The dressing on the salad is so good too......I've had the chicken and the tri tip myself, both are amazing!!! The chicken has bones and skin which I normally don't like to eat, but I loved it there!! It was so good, moist and flavorful, it was well worth skinning it myself. LOL DBF gets the cioppino every time, also very good with large pieces of lobster and crab! Very good with a piece of bread to soak up the goodies. :) AG is a family favorite, started that way because of the Princesses, now it's that way because of the food!

Pixie we are just running into each other today lol. To bad I missed you by a few days would have loved to met you. You are sooo right I forgot the bread basket, and trio of dips. I knew I forgot something, and I was thinking about it when I was typing lol. My fingers type faster than I can think of what I am trying to say lol. The bread basket is great, and it has a variety of breads which is something different than most places. It comes with this little retangle ramikin dish is the only thing I can think of to describe it. It has a pesto dip, ranch (for veggies, or bread) TRUST ME it's GREAT on both lol, and the most amazine fresh tasting Sea Salt butter. The butter is soft with a light sprinkle of sea salt on top. It's to die for.

My DD10 and I went in Jan 09. We loved it. The food was awesome, and it was a great way to meet all the princesses without the line ups. Very relaxing. We ordered fancy drinks with a Tinkerbell that was clipped onto the class. It lit up. So we wore them afterwards. For some reason, that was the highlight of that dinner.:lmao:

Yeah! Thanks everyone - I just booked it for my birthday dinner in a few weeks. Something girly for MOMMY in a family of boys.
