Just three more sleeps.... and now DS is sick with a nasty cough and fever and I've got a sore throat.

I never get sick and DS has been really good lately with colds, etc.

We're off to the doc to see what we can do.

All good thoughts and prayers would be appreciated!!!!!!!!!

Go and get yourselves on something now so when you leave in 3 days you should be coming back around to feeling better. Also get some Echinscea and take that. It will help boost you immune system and knock your colds out of the water. Best of luck !!

Just back from the doc. Super strong cough medicine, antibiotic and an inhaler... all for DS. He should be better by the time we get there.

Whew!!!

Now, your going to have to get plenty of rest and take your vitamins so you can feel better too!

Hope your Ds is feeling much better now.One good thing is kids seem to bounce back a heck of a lot quicker than adults. At least I know mine sure does. Mine had it for about 3 days. I caught it and was down for over a week! My doctor told me it's because they are so active it has a hard time keeping up with them Have a wonderful trip.

7 more sleeps and DD woke up with a cough and runny nose. If I don't start breathing treatments now on Albuterol, she will get sicker. Like you saidAargh!

DS has used the Albuterol a few times, along with the Antibiotics and coughs meds.... and is doing MUCH better!!!!

My DS takes Albuterol too (for asthma), may I recommend since you are leaving soon to see if your Dr. can give her a nebulizer treatment. It works so much faster than the inhalers. We now have one at home, instead of the inhaler for a week or two I use the nebulizer 2-3 days.

Thank you. Already on the nebulizer. Actually take it on vacation just in case. They have never been diagnosed with asthma, but as soon as they get sick, it goes right to the lungs.

My son is the same way. So we don't have to take nebulizer with us the doctor gave us the albuterol syrup in case he gets sick in Disney.

My sis (the nurse) and a total germaphobic has told me repeatedly that exercise and serious water intake will boost your immune system if you feel that you are coming down with something. Hopefully the meds are kicking in for your son, but you need to make that sore throat go away for you.
