In our previous house, we were unlucky enough for our ceiling to collapse on us.

Well, we've moved now and settled in, just in time for... the ceiling to collapse on us.

Ho hum.

I've got a ceiling in the back room that cracked - I think exacerbated when I had ta new room put on earlier this year. Anyway, getting it fixed isn't the problem,b ut I keep a ton of toys and junk in that room and I have to get it cleaned out before anyone can work in there. That's the real pain!

We're actually renting... we pointed out that there was water seepage and that rainwater was pooling on the flat roof outside, but the landlords brushed it off as "no big thing".

Well surprise, surprise, it turned out to be a big thing!

Oh no, I am sorry.

Twice ... well that is just annoying as all get out. Don't let the pessimist side take over (which without a doubt is hard to do at this moment.) No one was hurt, and that is what is truly important at the end of the day.

I hope everything can be saved - and if it cannot, they are easily replaced at landlords expense.
