WHY is it that making THREE TIMES as much money as I do, along with taking whatever days off you feel like and strolling into work at whatever time you feel like, gives you the right to come into my office space and rummage around in my paperwork; leaving what was a neat, orderly, organized system into something that looks like it went through Katrina and the earthquake in Haiti????

Honestly, today my boss has been on this "file search" rampage, and rather than asking me so that I can put my hands on what she needs immediately, she has to go rifling through my paperwork, leaving things who KNOWS where, in WHO KNOWS what order, with corners sticking out all over, and making sure that at least a dozen pages get caught in the drawer as it's slammed closed... :headache: And then when I hand her what she's looking for she says with a chuckle "oh, it must have been misfiled". AAAAAAAAAA!!!! No, you just don't know your number order and ALPHABET. :furious: Sometimes I think she should insist on a refund of the tuition she paid for her college education... :headache:

Okay, done venting. I feel better now. :flower3:

I could have written this post yesterday!!! I feel your pain, Darsa, I honestly do.

Oof, geez, that would be so annoying! I feel for you. I used to have that problem until I was given the opportunity to work from home; the downside is that I now have no one to blame but myself when I can't find stuff. ;)

We had a boss who would go thru files and waste baskets at lunch time. This was his way of managing. A real snake.

I cured him of the habit when I dumped the coffee grounds into the waste basket and arranged it so he got his hands dirty. I then stood outside my office and went in when his hands found the goodies. We looked at each other and I asked him if he was looking for something.

Don't you just wonder sometimes how some people manange to climb up the ladder when it seems they couldn't find their rear with a flashlight and a map?
