Argh! Disney Magical Express Help!!

I've just realised that we're flying to Sanford Airport for our holiday in August, which means that we aren't booked onto DME for transfer to WDW!
I hadn't realised that DME only worked out of Orlando International Airport and not Sanford!!!

I don't know why but i kinda assumed we were booked onto DME for some reason, however Thomas Cook have booked us transfers from Sanford Airport to WDW - Can anyone give me any idea if this will be a coach? And how long it will take? etc.

It is most likely a coach transfer. The journey direct from Sanford to Disney is around 40-50 minutes, but you may not be the first drop-off. If you are unlucky and the last folks to be dropped off it could take quite a while to reach your resort - but you will get to see quite a few hotels

If you don't fancy the long coach ride you could book a Towncar transfer. This way you get your own luxury limo and get met at baggage reclaim by your driver. You then get taken direct to your resort in comfort - you can also have a grocery stop to stock up on snacks etc. for your room
The round trip costs will be around $200, but after a long flight it's a nice ralaxing way to get to your resort.

Thanks for the town car advice, however it is only my DBF and myself and we're both students so we are on a bit of a budget... lol i think the cheaper option of getting the coach transfer is our choice.

I've done the coach transfers from Sanford before (included with package hols from MyTravel) and it was fine, nice air-conditioned modern coaches: In fact one year I remember the driver gave us a little commentary on the sights It does take a while but I didn't mind, the time soon passes when you're in the first flushes of holiday excitement!

Thank you so much for that. It's put my mind at ease about the whole transfer-from-the-airport-to-WDW thing. Didn't have a clue what kind of coach we would be on and just needed someone to have something nice to say about it.
