Sooo, we were coming home from the beach... I was looking forward to my bottle of aloe gel at home...

And when we stopped in town at the bank I noticed in the next parking lot over there was a COLDSTONE CREAMERY  I informed my husband STERNLY that we HAD to go over there and check it out because I've heard so much on the DISboards about it. So DH, DD, her BF and two other friends (yep, six of us) trooped over there.

  :cloud9: :cloud9: :woohoo: :cool1:

I had something with Chocolate Cake Batter Ice cream, and peanut butter, caramel and fudge swirled in. OMG I thought I was going to DIE of sheer bliss. I got a "like it", and couldn't finish it but WOOOOWWWW...

It's a good thing it's not especially close to home!! Like DD said "I'd be as big as Texas!"

Ah!

I tried to get DH to go there tonight but he "didn't want anything" so I settled for DQ and the poophead got something anyway.

...now I need some Coldstone!

I just posted a thread about it the other night. I wish I couldn't finish one of the like it or love it sizes. I buy it by the tub and can usually finish it in about 3 sittings. I try and stay away from there for obvious reasons but man I love it. It's the only place I can find a vanilla and peamut butter ice cream mix, everywhere else is chocolate and peanut butter and I don't like chocolate ice cream. That place is divine!!!!

Mmmm... I love Coldstone! I don't often want ice cream, but lately Unwrapped has had sooo many ice cream episodes that it gave me the absolute worst craving for it! Oh but it was sooooo worth it!

Strawberry ice cream with marshmallows and Heath Bar pieces... oh it was heavenly!

Not a big fan of Coldstone and most of them closed around here. I think there is 1 left out of 5 that were open. Give me a Handel's Ice Cream anytime.

Add me to the list of Coldstone lovers! My current favorites are the Birthday Cake Remix and the Cheesecake Fantasy, but that chocolate cake batter concoction sounds awfully good too. And, unfortunately, I, too, have no trouble finishing the medium size.

I would do unspeakable things for an Oreo Overload in a waffle bowl.

I like Coldstone..but I am not sure we have them here in Canada, We have another called 'Marble Slab Creamery' which is the same idea and IMO so much better.. They prep the fresh fruit right in front of you and you get beautiful chunks of perfect fruit in every bite. When I was at Coldstone last month in Scottsdale I was disappointed that the Bananas were already prepared and in small pcs and a kind of syrup that I suppose keeps them from turning brown. Ick.:confused3

Where's the Tag Fairy when you need her? :lmao:

But, I completely agree with this statement! :thumbsup2

I've never been to a Coldstone Creamery. Is it that fabulous? Here in Maine we have Gifford's ice cream which is delicious. It's locally made. Yumm. The only Coldstone I've seen in person was in Portsmouth, NH, and the Tim Horton's in S. Portland, ME, is putting in a Coldstone as part of their shop. It wasn't open when we were there.

We love Coldstone way too much. I guess I'm thankful that the Krispy Kreme next door to it hasn't reopened! That would be double trouble.

I love the Founder's Favorite. It's cheaper to get a Gotta Have It and split it than to get two Like It sizes. You get about 3 times more ice cream and it's only around $1 more.

I want some now, but I'm going out for my morning jog instead. No Coldstone... No!!!

I love Coldstone! The closest one to us is 45 minutes away, and we'll be going there today! So, I'm stopping for some take home!! I usually get a quart size of cake batter and take it home. I like ice cream better when it's hard anyway, so it doesn't bother me to freeze it when I get home.

Personally I don't find ColdStone anything special. We have been spoiled with Schwan's Ice Cream for years and you can get a 1/2 gallon of their ice cream for what ColdStone charges for a cone :thumbsup2 and iSchwan's tastes better.

Coldstone is divine. Love the Cookie Doughn't You Want Some.

yes...yes I do.

There is a Coldstone 3 miles from my house. I was just there yesterday in fact. NOT a good thing! :rotfl:

I love this place. They make the best milkshakes. My BF and I gained a few pounds from here the last couple of summers.
