Argh ... a little venting and a question

Does anyone know if Studio 1 store by the Muppet Theater still sells the Beaker hoodie?

Last Easter I had a weekend trip to Disney without my daughter. I found this hoodie in the Studio 1 store outside the Muppets show in Hollywood Studios I thought she might like, but wasn't sure. The cashier assured me with tags attached I could return it for store credit when we came back for our September trip. I thought that was fair as we could then return it and use the store credit to get her something she wanted when she's with us. I called just now to confirm with their Shopping and Merchandising staff and was told this is not true and there are no returns after 30 days. I wish they'd make that policy crystal clear for cast members as I wouldn't have bought the $55 sweatshirt!

So just wondering if they're still selling the exact same style, if they'd still give me store credit if tags are attached but I don't have my receipt - which for some reason I didn't put in the same bag - grrr... but I do have my credit card statement with amount purchased (which was just the sweatshirt at the Disney Visa card 10% discount).

Just wondering if I should still try...

Would you take a picture of it and I can check it out this weekend? If so, I can take a picture with the SKU.

Depending on the cast member, they may usually let you return it without a receipt (except for collectibles like pins) and you get merchandise credit (they have to get a lead to approve the return.)

I would give it a try. They may let you do an even exchange if they still have it.

Thanks, I will bring it along... worst they can say is no! Then it becomes someone's ill-fated Xmas gift. My SIL is a Beaker fan, but she's also a size 0 and will swim in it!

Follow up - they accepted the return! Had to take store credit at the lowest price it sold for but that was still 43$ - better than a sweatshirt sitting collecting dust in a closet. Thanks for the encouragement!
