You all rock!
I completely agree with everything that you're saying, and it is SO helpful to hear it from you guys! Those of you who have been through these situations yourselves, I know you understand how easy it is to get sucked into the madness and start second-guessing your own choices. So I really appreciate the feedback.
We've been working through the scenarios with cousin. She wants to give it a try staying with uncle after the Disney trip, but she doesn't want to get stuck. We have the condo through the day they fly home anyway (was cheaper to just rent it for a full two weeks), and they're going to rent a car. That way they can drive to uncle's house and have their own transportation rather than relying on witch's permission to use uncle's car. They also have an escape route if they need it.
In the meantime, the offer stands for uncle to join us at WDW for certain activities, if he leaves the witch at home. If not, that's his choice. We've already agreed that if the witch calls during the trip, we simply won't answer our phones.
It's definitely sad that he's chosen her over his family, but you're all right, there's nothing we can do about it. I sure hope he figures it out before he really gets hurt, though.
Thanks again for everything. You are a wonderful group of people!!
