How is Johnnie Hideaways?

How is Bubbalous Bodacious BBQ?

Seafood restaraunts any ideas would be great... would have to be a steak or American menu as well for kids who don't eat seafood.



We are staying at our Timeshare on Turkey Lake RD.
We usually do ALOT of Disney Restaraunts just want a few other options for when we are not doing Disney Parks

We loved Bubbalous last time we ate there.

This may be a strange steak suggestion, but we love the habachi steak lunch at Bennihanas on Interntional drive south of Seaworld. For around $12, we get soup or salad, vegetable fried rice, a whole steak, veggies, mushrooms and green tea during lunch. It is always wonderful.

We are going to try Q'Kenan for Venezuelan carne asada and Havana's Cuban Cuisine for their skirt steak on our next trip.

If money is no object, Texas De Brazil is a favorite.

Seafood is a challenge. We are going to try Sea Dog and Hot and Juicy Crawfish. Miller's Ale House has an OK lobster special and we love the calimari at Cafe D Antonio's in Celebration. We go to Starfish in Cortez outside Bradenton for our seafood fix in Florida.

When is your trip?

We have plans to dine at Bubbalou's & 4 Rivers (both BBQ places) and the Knife (a Brazilian steakhouse) over the first week of May. If you are travelling after that, I would be happy to report back.

We also really enjoy Bubbalous by Universal. Not sure where to send you for seafood. Living along the gulfcoast and getting fresh seafood usually keeps us from eating seafood out of town.

We ate at Charley's Steak House in Kissimmee (Parkway Boulevard - just east of I-4 off of 192)
Not cheap - but not Shula prices, but delicious steak

We loved Fish Bones last year (seafood, but not exactly cheap but was adults only that night ); Kids also loved Joes Crab shack-the seafood boils. Still cannot believe the amount of food they ate that night...
Texas de Brazil is wonderful but wear expandable waist pants...

If you are travelling outside of Orlando we really enjoyed Dixie Crossroad in Titusville (near Kennedy Space Center) for seafood.

johnny hideaways is pricey if you ask me. Although their happy hour is pretty good.
