Are your kiddos out of school Jan 2nd-4th?

My daughter is off school Dec 22-Jan 7th and I know it would be super busy until after New Years, but am wondering about sneaking a DL trip Jan 3rd-7th possibly. The park hours aren't out yet so I don't know if it would be super busy since kiddos are out or whether it might be a little slower.

Any ideas/predictions?

Sort of odd calendar this year, we are off here in Colorado until the 7th and have scheduled our trip to PPH to take advantage.

Out til the 7th. And I would expect hours at DL and DCA to be at least 9 AM - 11 PM, probably 8 AM - 11 PM or even midnight.

most so cal school return back to school from winter break after the first week of jan.
this year the dates fall on monday jan 7, 2013.
However, the colleges go back to school the following week.

My DD doesn't go back until the 9th. I thought about sneaking in a trip then but decided to sneak in a couple of extra days at work instead. I'm always busy when the kids are off school and it is a good time to make a couple extra $$$ for the next Disney trip.

I think the whole week of New Years will probably still be pretty busy at DLR.

7th for us. We are going to DL the first through the sixth. It's going to be busy, but we are bound to have a good time anyway!

Here in Phoenix we're also out until the 7th. I have a friend who is taking her family sometime that first week of January, as they're annual passholders and are not blocked then.

DS's last day this year is 12/20. He goes back 1/9. The 21st-4th are holiday break; the 7th-8th are for inservice/planning days.

Thanks for the info. I am now debating... Nov 12th weekend or early January, hmmmmm. I'm just driving so it may be more a matter of which has better weather.

Actually the largest school district in Colorado is Jefferson County who is out until the 9th. So we will be at the land on that Monday Jan. 7th. The holiday decorations are scheduled to conclude on the 6th, and the hours will be shorter on the 7th, but we are hoping it won't be as crowded.
