Are you/Will you be an organ donor?

I am not, simply because I'm too young to have a license.

When I'm eligible, you bet I'm going to be an organ donor. That's if my organs are able to be donated, with all the damage and whatnot. I also want to donate my body to science after I'm gone, and I want to donate blood/plasma as often as I can. The only thing I can never donate is bone marrow, just because of having chemo - it's a bummer.

Someone saved my life. Now it's time for me to save theirs.

I don't know if I am right now. I think it's because my mom didn't know I wanted to be so she didn't tell them when I got my drivers license. You can get that changed can't you?

i dont have my permit even yet so but i do know that i want to be an organ donor.

Reasons:
I will be dead, i will not need my organs
I will be able TO SAVE SOMEONES LIFE...this one really is why i want to do it, because i think if i needed someones organs or someone i loved needs one i hope a person and organ donor, who is dying and nothing can be done about it, would be un selfish and spare someone elses life.

Personally, I don't see why myself and another person need to die, when the other person has a chance of survival. I wont need my organs once I'm gone anyway, and I'd like to think if I needed a donor at some stage in my life, someone will be there for me

Tbh i'm not sure how old you have to be, but i'm going to talk to my parents about me possibly signing up to be a donor.
Ohh, what i really want to be able to do is be a bone marrow donor. I know that it hurts, and can cause a lot of pain, but to me it's the price i'll have to pay to help another person. i don't care how much it'll hurt. As long as i know that i am benefiting someone's likfe by doing it, i'll be happy.
I want to give blood too. i'm legally allowed to do this know, with me being 16, so i'm signing up for that too. Actually...i wonder if my medication for ADHD will prevent me being able to donate blood.

Ahh thanks Ash. Oh well i'll still talk to my parents about it. I'm sure they'll be happy to give me permission.
Yep, you sure can. I mean i have a fear of needles, so i am a little reluctant to participate. But hey, if i'm helping another cause, why shouldn't i face a little fear in aid to help another.
In fact, i'm going to talk about it to my parents tonight!

I really do hope that when I die my organs are harvest-able (that sounds really scary haha) so that something I don't need anymore can go to help a person who really needs it and their family

When in an RE lesson once, we were asked questions and told to put "yes" or "no". Out of 30 people, only 2 people put yes to being an organ doner, me being one of them.

When I had gotten my license, I had put 'no', but I may change that later on.

The reason at the time was honestly a bit ridiculous, now that I think about it. I had seen this show (it was on the health channel. My dad was watching it) where this lady had some kind of disease. The disease made her pass out and 'die', but she never REALLY died. The disease just made it appear as if she was dead and slowed her heart so much that the doctors believed it. Several times throughout her life, she would pass out like that and wake up on a table in that building where they embalm dead bodies.

I was TERRIFIED that something like that would happen to me, and that I'd end up waking up in some hospital to someone starting to cut me open.

I know the chances of that happening now are highly unlikely tho and I really do like the idea of saving another persons life, so I have seriously been thinking about changing it.
