DH and DS are glued to the tv! I can still hear the game, but planning our next trip is much more exciting to me. Just wondering what other DISers are doing during the Super Bowl?

Yes. I am on the chaise(sp?) with the laptop and my husband is on the couch glued to the game. I am also paying attention but am not 100% focused on the game. It looks like the Pats finally have a drive going though. Go PATS!!!!!

So far it appears the diet pepsi will generate a lot of Monday morning talk...anyone else see a commercial they liked?

I liked the Bud Light commerical with the bird that was guarding the woman at the bar.

Right now Sir Paul is on. Those songs are 40yrs old but they are still great. I doubt anyone will be singing a Britney song 40yrs from now.

A Super Bowl tied at half time and we were wondering if Paul would take his shirt off to show that it is not such a big deal...

Just got back to the computer, was doing some work -ugh!
Did you notice the commerical where the little boy morphs into an older man during the commerical?? Did it remind anyone else of Carousel of Progress??

Got to pull for the Pat's - five LSU fellows play for them!!


(and how many commericals have brought tears to your eyes? Just saw a "thank you" to the troops from Budweiser! Very touching!!)

Paul McCartney....sigh.....and I'm under forty!! Quality is ageless, isn't it?

Commercials... I like the one on now with the entire airport applauding soldiers returning...nice.

I also liked the one where the NFL players who are not in the Super Bowl singing "Tomorrow" or something like that.

Yeah, the Super Bowl is on in the living room. I came into my office to go on the DIS during halftime. Wound up staying in here for a while longer with my small portable TV on beside me.

Is it just me, or are the commercials more "ordinary" than usual for a Super Bowl? I remember other years laughing myself silly at some of the funny commercials. Haven't had a good laugh yet tonight, but there's still plenty more commercials to go.
