Are you visiting Disneyland for the first time in 2005...

I'll be heading to Disneyland for the first time in May 2005 via the Disney Magic's first Kingdom to Kingdom cruise! After the Westbound repositioning cruise, I'll be spending three days at DL/DCA.

DH, kids and I are vacationing at DL July 18-22 from Oregon....Feels like the right time....Road trip, DL Hotel....I've been several times when I was a kid living in Long Beach...My DH and children have never been. We are very excited!

We are taking the Repo Cruise in August and are flying out a few days ahead to see where the mouse started! We are WDW vets but never DL!

we are coming out on the cruise from florida in may/june. we have stayed at wdw in the dvc a number of times but tjis will be the first time in california..looking forward to it :rockband:

First trip coming up in March. I am a fanatic of WDW and now I get to see where it all started.

Count us among the WDW vets heading West in '05. I actually decided about 5 or 6 years ago that this would be a good year for our first California trip. We haven't booked yet but will probably do August after DD gets home from camp. And yes, we did pick this year because of the 50th. We'll probably do 4 or 5 days at Disneyland. After that, we want to drive out to Vegas for 3 or 4 days. Then back to California for more sightseeing. Probably drive to San Fran to visit good friends of ours. Still working out the details.

We are going in October because of the 50th Anniversary celebration. This will be our second visit to DL, but our first to DCA. I can't wait!

We are thinking of Going to DL this summerfor a few nights. We have never been and our two oldest boy's will be gone a lot this summer so I thought a trip there with the younger two might be nice. Never thought about the 50th though. I wonder how busy DL will be?

I have a quest to see all the Disney parks and since I am determined to do Tokyo and Hong Kong together, going to Disneyland for the 50th is the next logical place to visit. Plus, there are some sweet coasters in CA that I have to try at Magic Mountain.

Hoping to make a trip out for it. Won't be the first trip, just the first time in about 20 years! Not sure when yet.

We are in the planning stages for a possible middle to late August trip to DL with some friends. My DW and I were at DL for our one and only trip there back in 1985. Since I will be turning 50 three months before DL, we thought this would be a magical place to celebrate my birthday.

This would be our DD's first trip to DL however.

We plan on flying into John Wayne Airport, spending 5 nights at the Howard Johnson in Anaheim and then switching to a hotel in the San Diego area, so we can do Legoland, SeaWorld and San Diego Zoo.

We are going to try to hit Newport Beach and Huntington Beach as well, so the kids can swim in the Pacific Ocean. :flower1:

I'm making my first to DL since 1973. We're going because we will be on the May repositioning cruise, and we decided there's no way we can be that close to Disneyland and not go! We plan to spend (almost) 2 days there - the day we disembark from the ship, and the day after, then fly home to Atlanta on Memorial Day.

Trying to go in February or March...and will try to go to DL again sometime after the summer.

Won't be our first trip, but it has been a couple of years. Just booked for early December. Can't wait to see all they have done for the 50th anniversary and I'm so excited to see Disneyland decked out for the holidays (that will be a first for us).
