About 6-7 years ago, we met some fellow DISers at HHI. It was in the off-off season, either late February or early March. It was way back when Godon was Chef Gordon, at a Cooking event at the Beach house, and Gordon was describing an event ofered then, the Private Affair. I can still remember the husband saying "Sign me up!" but I don't know if they were ever able to do the Private Affair before it was discontinued. All these years, I assumed it was KarenB, but we just straightened out that it wasn't her. So who was it? Anyone want to confess? My "not young" mind forgot the actual name.

It wasn't me.

But I had a Private Affair planned for my birthday back in 2004. But I got called home, my mother took a turn for the worse, so I had to cancel. After I left (I left DH and DS - we were with his family) Chef Gordon stopped by to see if there was anything they could do for us. It's something I have always remembered. That is just the type of resort it is, the CM are outstanding. Just wanted to share.
