This coming Monday is the deadline to resgister to vote. It is our responsibilty as Americans to take part in the political process.
I have added the links from President Bush's site below but I do invite a democrat to add thier links as well. Everyone on this board seems so passionate about their political opinions that I know you will all want to vote.

I am bumping b/c I think it is so important that we all vote and I don't want anyone to miss the registration deadline!!!!

I will be if the form I mailed out last week makes it in time. When I moved, I thought I had re-registered in my new town, but apparently I did not.

Absolutely! I've been registered since I was able to be so!

Yes! I remember someone coming to our high school during my senior year to register those of us who were 18.

I also want to remind folks to get those ABSENTEE BALLOTS if they are going to be away during the election at say....Disney or anywhere else for that matter. Absentee Ballots typically have to be requested pretty far in advance of the election. We mailed ours out a few weeks back!

I would call your local board of elections or county clerk - they should be able to let you know if you are registered and where your polling location is!

I registered as soon as I turned 18 and now I vote via absentee ballot since I am 20 hours away at college for the elections.
