Are you on the rich-list?

We live in the 2nd richest county of the 2nd poorest state...Jefferson County, West Virginia........its still Almost Heaven :wave2:

Nope. Nowhere near. My city is ranked 49th in Tennessee - neck-and-neck with the national average per capita ($21,500).

Guess I'm pretty lucky/unlucky (depends on which way you look at it), here are my city's stats:

The median income for a household in the city is $26,475, and the median income for a family is $30,762. Males have a median income of $26,792 versus $20,612 for females. The per capita income for the city is $13,439.

Yup. We are on the list. Middlex County, MA

No wonder my fiance and I have no hope of buying a home!

Yep, Montgomery County, MD, #15 on the first list, #16 on the second, #13 on the third list. No wonder my children will likely never be able to afford to live here (and no, they are no living with me! :) ).

We're in the "Up County", so not as expensive as closer to DC. However, we're in a planned community, so more expensive than the towns around us. It's really exploded in value in the last several years and there is no way that we'd be able to afford our house if we were to want to buy it today.

That's why I moved to Frederick!!! I lived in Mont Co for a long time. I also lived in Howard County for a year, #29 on the list.

My sister lives in Falls Church, VA. #3 on the list! :scared1:
