Are you involved in PTO?

We tried everything including a free movie night to get parents in to talk with us about things. We tried meeting at different times to let people have a chance to meet with us, lots of stuff. Usually it ended up the three of us doing everything. It was hard, but fun.

I have been involved for the last 4 years and really like it!! Will be President next year. We get new faces most of the time, but I think a lot people are scared off thinking that they Have to be at Every meeting. The same ladies at our school seem to just rotate around on the Board b/c most people don't want the responsibility. We have meetings during the day, b/c it is for the school we are doing this and we don't want to make everyone take an extra night out to come back to the school. Those that work outside the home should not worry about trying to be involved in the Board part of it, just volunteer to help with whatever you can! Little or big.

It is all for a good cause, benefitting the children.
