Are you in CT? Is it snowing?

I just glanced up at the Weather Channel and they were showing snow to beat the band in CT.. However, I had the sound muted and by the time I hit the button, they had gone on to talk about the possibility of snow in other east coast states over the next 3 days..

So is it snowing where you are now - or not?

For anyone who has this snow coming their way over the next 3 days, they were saying to expect large power outtages.. It's going to be a heavy, wet snow and with the leaves still on the trees they expect a lot of branches to come down..

If this storm is coming your way, time to plan ahead..:goodvibes

It's crazy - waaaaaaay too early for this stuff! :headache:

Yes, we have had big floppy wet snowflakes on and off all day. No accumulation. I am in southwestern CT...not real close to the shore... a little inland.

Okay - I have the sound on now and it's looking like the further inland, the higher probability of a significant accumulation..

I'm in southeastern CT and we've had snow all afternoon.

Not much accumulation here (1/2 an inch or so), but so pretty to look at! :goodvibes

Just had to respond.;) Can we trade, im so sick of hot weather, 90 degrees in Oct. Sick of it!:rotfl:

It's been snowing in the N/W hills for several hours...not much sticking yet - maybe an inch or so. I hear there is more coming though!

I live in a suburb of Buffalo, NY. I seen snow today. It did not accumulate though. It was the first of this season.....makes me NOT look forward to the next several months. The weather has a snow storm warning for some of the towns around me (those a little further inland), I guess they can get up to 6 inches by tomorrow.

Yup snowing here. In the larger town 15 minutes away, the snow had turned to mostly rain by evening but in our smaller town, it's still snowing steadily. The kids are beyond excited and hoping for a snow day tomorrow. We're in Western CT.

My DD5 made up some little sing-song rhyme this afternoon about "... Fall is past it went by so fast..." :rotfl:

It snowed here in my town, but all the snow melted as soon as it hit the ground. On the local news this evening they showed a couple towns over from me (like 10 miles away) that is at a higher elevation, and there the snow was sticking to everything.
