Are you having a harder time getting ADRs this year?

I just lucked into a dinner ADR at BOG. Only problem is, it's at 8:05 and we'll miss the fireworks I'm going to keep looking and hope an earlier time opens up. Even though I signed up for Touring Plans Reservation Finder, they didn't send me a notification about this ADR. I just lucked into it by checking at the right time. Makes me wonder how many I might have missed because they didn't send a notification. I know others have had success with it so not sure why it didn't work for me.

I believe TP checks either every 30 min or every 60 min, so you might have just happened across your ressie before TP got to it.

That's entirely possible. That's why I said I lucked out! Just happened to be stalking at the right time lol

Congrats! And I'm with you on the TP reservation finder. I checked the status of mine as soon as I read your post. It says "last checked at 11:47 AM on 4/7/17." 2 days ago?! Leaves a lot to be desired.

I just checked the last time they checked was 4:50 p.m. yesterday. Definitely leaves a lot to be desired.

I don't think they are open for September yet...

As I learned from checking the reservation site again, ROL dining is currently available for alternating days in Sept. Don't know what that means to ROL or if that will change since none of the AK schedule is in the official schedule yet (haven't hunted for an updated travel agent schedule so don't know if it's on that). At this moment, my choices are to flip a couple days in my plan to be at AK on one of the currently scheduled ROL dining days or wait and see. I'm flipping.

We had no problems getting ADRs at 180 days for May including BOG lunch. Family decided to go overlapping us in May at about 4 months out. They were able to get what they wanted including BOG lunch. Because we were touring with them we changed an Epcot day to MK day about 4 months out. I was able to get LLT but I'm stalking for BOG dinner. TP reservation finder has spotted nothing at all in that time. Many people said that around 30 days things would open up as people decided to cancel trips but nothing has shown up. I hear a week ahead is another good time. We'll see.

Edit: Oh and I've used the reservation finder multiple times and I've never seen it show a time more than 24 hours in the past for me. I think it checks once a day which is probably fine for moderately hard ADRs but probably not for things like BOG.

I've been able to get everything I wanted for my August/September trip. I didn't try for any really hard to get ADR's though.

I did book the ROL dinner package at TH. I'll probably cancel it if I'm able to get a FP.
