Is this a reality show? I haven't heard of it, and im a reality show junkie!!

Yep. In just about 10 minutes. I've been hooked since the first episode. I love the way those daughters put Dad in his place.;)

Yes, I'm watching at Midnight. It's my guilty pleasure of the week!!!

OOOOh I love Family Plots!!! For those who don't know it's not exactly reality TV per se, it's more a documentary series on a family who runs a funeral home. If you are familiar with Emergency Vets on Animal Planet it's that kind of show. It's on A&E. I discovered it when my TIVO suggested it. Can I just say how much I ADORE my TIVO?? It's the coolest invention ever! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

We watched that and the airline show after that. They are both easy to get hooked on.

I watched the first one, sort of - I had to turn it off. It was too hard to watch.

Looked interesting otherwise!

That was a very sad one with the baby.:sad1:

Sorry folks - I fell asleep about 5 minutes into the show so I wasn't able to post answers to any of the questions here.. :(

It's on A&E - Monday evenings 9 to 10 pm..

I think another reason I'm so interested in this show is that my nephew has just started an internship working in a funeral home and is now planning on going to college to become a mortician.. He LOVES it, but I've never really known what goes on "behind the scenes" until I started watching this show.. I don't know if it's the "norm" or not, but this family really seems to care deeply for their clients and want to do their very best for them during a particularly difficult time..

I have to chuckle though because when my DD first saw the advertisement for this show she said to her DH - "Who would want to watch a show like THAT ??"

Ummmm.. Your "Mom"??? LOL

But then she watched it herself LAST week and how she's a fan as well..;)

Last night had a new episode first (a sad one about a baby who died just 30 minutes after birth), and a rerun for the second show (the one where they're all trying to quit smoking amid a rather chaotic day).

This show is really much better than you might think. It's not all gloom and doom. In fact, there are many lighthearted moments among the staff. There are 3 sisters who work there along with their Dad, and three other guys who aren't related to them (although one of them is dating one of the daughters).

Each show is only 30 minutes long, so it's easy to catch a whole episode. I highly recommend it. :D
