I was coming in to attend the HM Event. Now I have extended my stay an extra day so that I can attend the Expo on the 10th. So, my vote for a meet would be the 10th of course.

Thanks for participating in this thread's poll so far! Frankly, I'm surprised at how many of us will be there all 4 days.

I'm working on the 2nd update to the D23 Meet list on post #1. I'd appreciate it if you can post whether or not you're a D23 member (who gets into the Expo an hour early), and if you continue posting your availability so we can plan a meet.

I'm a D23 member and I'll be there all 4 days!

We're arriving the night of the 9th and leaving the night of the 13th, so we'll be at all the major keynote speakers and possibly the Disney Channel presentation, but that's a big maybe. We'll definitely be taking some time at the parks, though. It's my first trip to DLR! I couldn't be more excited!!!

I'm not interested in the Auction, though. I could never afford anything and it would all just make me really jealous.

Thanks so much for starting this thread - would love to come to a meet.
I arrive Sept 8 for the HM event, then will be at the D23 expo all 4 days.
I am a Day One D23 member so will be there for early opening!
I will be staying at the Paradise pier 9/8-9/11; then Cortona Inn - altho I hope to be at either the Marriott by the Convention Ctr or still at the Paradise Pier 9/11-9/13.
Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help with the meet.

I won't be attending, but I'm dying to hear when the Disney Wonder (Panama Canal cruise) will be making it's trip out to LA in 2011. If anyone hears a date, could you please post.

It will either be me alone or with a buddy. Leaving DW & DS home.

Will be arriving Friday afternoon/evening and stay through Sunday.

If it's just me coming, I will probably spring for an Annual Pass and spend a little time in the parks.

I still haven't booked a room yet. I'm looking for El Cheapo Hotel.

Oh, and I just signed up for D23 this morning!!!

We will be there for all 4 days. Be prepared for the unfortunate but understandable holiday overlay closure of Space Mountain and Haunted Mansion. I wish they could find a way around this to allow us hardcore fans to ride these favorites and help prevent overcrowding and long wait times on open attractions. Not sure what we can do...

I agree! I think they should go down Monday the 14th. What a silly time to start the overlays. When you are having a HUGE gathering of hardcore fans and executives there!? I also would have the Electrical Parade running that weekend!!!

We will be there the 9th-14th now. Had to come in a day early to ride HM (my favorite.) Wish SM was going down the 10th too at least. We will be at the expo the 10th, 12th and 13th. Not really interested in the speakers on the 11th.

I'll be in DLR with DH DD and grandkids the 6-9, then they are leaving and friend is arriving and we'll do the Expo all 4 days..have to leave early Sunday though. Staying at Jolly Roger for the Expo time.
I sure hope hundreds of thousands don't come..the main arena only seats 9,100 and the seminar rooms 500...I'd hate for this to be a big dissappointment for folks...
Is there an area on the DIS set up for those of us going or just for D23?

I'm arriving at the Anaheim Marriott, directly at the entrance to the Convention Center, late on Sept 8th and leaving Sept 14th. I am ticketed for all four days. I'm staying on Marriott points and flying in on Delta points, so it is not costing too much. I may be volunteering a few hours at the NFFC (Disneyana Fan Club) booth. And I am a member of D23.
