Just joined D23. Going with DD after we get off work Friday. Will stay in Cheapie Quality Inn on Katella Friday night then move to Grand CA for Sat and Sun. Driving home Monday...

Wow..thanks for posting this. I'd love the Peter Pan vehicle and I bet all those surprise lots and resort experiences will be great. Not going to the auction though...

It's time to update the D23 Expo list!

Thanks to those of you who posted your updated details, and congratulations to our newest D23 members.

We should select the date/time/place for our DIS meet by the end of August. For those of us who are traveling, we can have its details before we leave home, and it gives us all something we can look forward to in addition to the D23 Expo! I'm already excited...

If you plan to check in just one more time before the D23 Expo, we should have the final date/time posted on Post #1 by August 31st. (The way it looks right now, we may have two DIS meets.) Until then, let's continue collecting votes/info, and feel free to post if you have a suggestion about when or where we should meet.

I will be at the Disneyland Resort from 9/07 - 09/12. I'll be attending the Haunted Mansion 40th event on the 9th (also my birthday that day ) and the D23 Expo on the 10th (maybe the 11th too). Sign me up for any meets. Would love to see everyone.

Going by myself for four days. I wish I had seen the "hundreds of thousands expected" before I booked the trip... if it is that big it will not be fun.
I wonder if they will stop selling tickets at some point... I just got mine yesterday...

When are you arriving, and where are you staying? Are you a D23 member?

Arriving 9/9, staying at the Worldmark Dolphin's Cove a 0.6 mile walk from the Convention Center. Staying all four days ... returning to home and work on 9/14. Yes, D23 member (new, just in time for the expo). Looking forward to it!

The LA Times article (I think I read it there) suggested that ticket sales were slower than expected. So I wouldn't worry too much about huge crowds. If you're used to DL, I'm sure you can handle this!

Yes. Here is an email I got from them: "Per your request below, we will have food available throughout the event. There will a be a food location in each exhibit hall as well as our lobby areas. Each area will have a specialty such as Italian, Mexican, Grill Items or a bbq area as well as standard sandwiches, salads, etc. We will have some featured Disney menu items as well. Each area will include a kids meal package. The hours will be throughout the show floor times as well as any special events and registration times."
