I was also able to keep myself from going overboard on stockings for once. Usually I go all out and get all these cool little 'things' but lasts years 'things' are still sitting in a shoebox unused
So this year I went cheap and am filling the stockings with candy lol They won't know what to think but will be happy im sure!Ummm yes!! I even have a set limit with DH but keep on thinking "oh but the cats didn't buy him anything yet!"![]()

I got his wife a $25 shirt, and then two $10 gifts that look like I spent a lot more. I THINK that is enough and is within my budget but I feel like she's going to feel cheated. I can't help that I found a good deal on the cashmere pashmina I bought her; I'm just good at finding deals.
If not, I wouldn't worry. I would think that and a shirt would look equal to your dad's jacket.
But, when I look at the pile around the tree it is a little
I paid cash for everything, though, so I refuse to second guess any of it. With the exception of birthdays this is the only time we do big gift giving to the kids (they do get a small something at Easter and Valentine's but those are token items, the rest of the year they have to buy it themselves.)
