Are you concerned about North Korea?

There is plenty of room for concern, but nothing to panic over... just yet.

We should be concerned when any country threatens to attack our country or any of our friends. I think of North Korea as a loose cannon that could probably cause some damage, but would lose a lot more than they would ever gain if they attacked anyone. I suppose my biggest concern is that we would repeat all the mistakes of the 1950's instead of fighting a quick and decisive war.

Well my DB is in the Army and stationed over in Korea for a yr, so I am a little concerned for him. Hopefully nothing will go down while he is over there. He is stationed at a base right by the border so that is a little

I'm as concerned about North Korea as I am about Iran, so yes but I'm not panicky.

When Interrailing, I met an Australian Lawyer on a train from Hungary. He told me of his disturbing experiences when visiting North Korea.

Of course visiting on an organised tour, he spoke of the journey as a nightmare. He said nothing seemed real, and he could feel eyes piercing him every step he made. He spoke of a solitary little girl playing in an abandoned playground, expressionless. She, like everybody else was being controlled by an inhuman regime that I cannot believe exists.

A place of natural beauty and unbelievable human suffering should worry people.

I think everyone should be concerned about the North Korea how horrible they people are treated the horrible living condtions

Yes.

I am concerned anytime an unstable person has a knife or gun.

That goes even double for an unstable person whom has a 2 million man army under his control and whom is trying to develop multiple nuclear weapons with a means to deliver them to foreign lands.

The Korean war will start up again someday.

Actually, the war never "ended." There was an armistice agreement, but the peninsula is technically still at war. The DPRK's standing army numbers about half your estimate. With extreme levels of malnutrition and the complete disaffection of living under a fragile, poor, cruel and transitioning communist regime, any "instability" on the part of Kim Jon Il, whose health is failing fast after suffering a stroke last year, is probably the least of our worries.
