Are you at BCV in Oct, concerned about construction?

I've been a member there for 20 years, and this is the first time both the villa pool and rooms will be under renovation/updating. We'll be there mid October and we are huge users of both the villa pool and SAB, and the villa pool being closed could be a game changer for us. I know we can use the quiet pool at BC, but the convenience isn't the same. If you're there in Oct, are you reconsidering at all? I know it's a bit late to change our mind, they'll probably be nothing left anywhere else. And, do you think with the rooms being done on the other floors, what are the chances we'll be moved, your thoughts?

I will be going in October but I typically use SAB since it is much more fun so not an issue.

Yes. We typically go every October and am concerned as we spend a lot of time at the villas pool and just in our villa in general. Not sure what we're going to do yet as we really love the proximity to EPCOT and hate to have to give that up. Have they said what's planned for the villa pool refurb? Are there changes or "just" a refresh?

We are there the last week in October. We don’t care about them closing the pool asking as we have access to SAB.

You will have nothing to worry about. Both the rooms and the pool, will be done by the end of October.

We also use SAB most of our vacation. But on a day that we just want quiet, we love the villa pool. Its a bummer it'll be closed.

I get the announcements by email, thru the DVC page. You should have no concerns, this will all be done by the end of October.

I actually don't know what is being done, I just know the pool will be closed the entire month of October.
