Are you an ice hockey fan? And if not, will you watch one NHL match on tv this upcoming season?

Thanks, but I can’t stand to watch it on Espn.
As I mentioned I won’t watch it, and if I dId, it would be on TSN
No problem. Just trying to help. You do know that Disney owns both ESPN and (partly) TSN right? So I don't get how the hockey coverage is different.

You could always listen to it on the radio/phone in the background while having fun on the beach. Anyway have a great trip and I wish your team well this season. By the way, are you excited about the 4 Nations face off?

Panthers or Lightning?
The hubs is Edmonton, cause...Gretzky. And then we like Hurricanes because we lived there for a little while. And also like the Lightning since we live down here now. We are from Capitals area and all our family are big Caps fans so that's kinda the last team we root for.

I am a baseball fan...Orioles. Hubs likes Phillies. But he isn't too into watching. I have been watching my baby birds go these past few months.

Hubs is a football fan foremost. College and pro. My life is on pause through January. Lol.

And we both like F1 now too. Started that about 3 years ago. At least I have that and baseball for a little while longer before hockey really kicks in. Then all hope is lost for me with hockey and football.

No soccer or basketball?

No soccer or basketball?
Sometimes basketball but doesn't have a team or anything. And no soccer. But he started getting into Rugby and likes that six nations stuff. As if we don't already have a lot to watch, lol. Occasionally will watch tennis too. And we have to plan travel around sports. Also have to know where, on vacations, we will watch. It can be irritating at times. He always wants to cruise and watch games on cruise and that hardly ever works out. Yet he still plans and hopes.

I definitely am. I plan on watching a lot of games this year and trying to go to 5 or 6.

Yes we are fans.
We cheer for the Chicago Blackhawks and will watch games here and there.
My 9yr old GS plays and quite honestly it's a very time committment sport so when we are all home, watching a game isn't the "goal". ha ha

A tip for watching teams while on vacation: check the league website to see what channel/streaming service will show the game out of state. If you have the particular streaming service, you don't have to hunt for the tv channel while on vacation.

Yes, quite a few I imagine. Around February I discovered I like sports as a nice distraction and now I sort of get it, I am a newbie and just sort of follow DH's favs.

Both DH and I are hockey fans. He follows the Flyers and I'm a Habs fan. We live in Flyers' country but get Center Ice and ESPN+ so I can watch the Hab.Early part of the season viewing will depend on how the Philles are doing in the MLB playoffs. We both route for them.
Don't worry if we are on vacation, especially early in the season.

I love rugby as well but NY's team folded last season.

Florida also has several soccer teams as well if your family ever wants to check it out:
To name a few:

Major League:

Orlando:

USL (AAA level Minor League team)

The nearest team near Tampa is the Tampa Bay Rowdies:

Just in case you didn't know about the teams mentioned above.

What teams do you root for again? I apologize for not remembering. It's been a long sports day for me today 😴.

So tomorrow's Preseason match should be fun for you and your DH. Good luck against the Cubs too.
