I miss a ton of DISers out there. There were some really nice people posting that I haven't seen in a long time
You know, it is so comforting to me to know that I am not the only one who feels the exact same way. When I make a post that doesn't get many replies I wonder what I have done and why people don't like me. I know a lot of the time it really has to do with time of day that the post is made as well as the subject, but still I wonder why there are no responses really.
Oh and being a thread killer is just the worst feeling. I think one time I started a thread and then a few replies later, I killed it myself
What a terrible feeling that was.
Dawn, I like this thought "They say acceptance of a problem is half the battle." Actually that is so very true. I used to lurk a heck of a lot more than I do now and then someone (who eventually became a very very good friend to me) pushed me a little to post more. I realized that I had to push myself to be a little less shy. I do that... now I just have to get over that fear of starting threads
I'm with Planogirl... jump in... don't worry about killing threads or anything like that
The vast majority of the poeple here are very nice and very welcoming to all
