Are you a local with an AP? Can you help me get tix to glow with the show AP preview

We have APs and we live in Utah. We're going to be in DL when they are doing the AP preview of "Glow with the Show" with Fantasmic! Fantasmic! is my daughter's favorite at DL and we would love to go to this event on the 28th, but I won't be in DL before the sign up deadline of Aug 23rd. Is there anyone who can go sign up for this event and doesn't need all of their guest passes? We would need 3 and would LOVE it if someone could help us out.

Disneyland Annual Passholders (AP) will get an opportunity to preview Fantasmic! with the new "Glow With the Show" ears technology added. The preview will be held on August 28 from 10:00 pm - 12:00 am and will allow passholders to get a sneak peak of this new experience at the theme park. The new Mickey ear hats are currently used in the "World of Color" nighttime spectacular and it was recently announced that they would be brought to Fantasmic! The ears on the hats interact with the shows and light up in response to music.

The private showing will take place at 11:30 pm, but some of the rides, shops and restaurants will stay open until midnight. Annual passholders must sign up in person at any Disneyland Resort ticket booth by Thursday, August 23 at 10:00 pm (unless capacity is reached before then). They may bring up to three guests, as long as guests have been registered and have vouchers for the event. Note: "Glow With the Show" ears will not be handed out at this event; passholders at the preview will need to bring their own or purchase some that evening. (There was an AP event held for World of Color in June, and hats were passed out at that time).

I would call the disneyland AP member services phone number. explain to them that you are in utah and you will be in the parks on this day and that you would really like to attend the fantasmic AP glow with the show event. they might be able to put you on athe list over the phone. we did this for the fantasmic 40th anniversary AP event, it worked out well for us.

Thank you. DH tried chatting online this morning and they said no. I called that # and they said no but I'm going to do a little more checking to see if I can get someone who can help. I did find out that the guests have to go with the person who registered to the ticket booth to get the wristbands.

No one can do this for you. They will ask to see your AP and ID and assign the AP # to the "ticket" for the special event. I have had this done for a special showing of Fantasmic just for AP (but not glow with the show). I would try calling instead. Good luck!

unless im completely missing something...then yes they can...didnt you see that HUGE thread where people were willing to get extra tix and meet up with people and give them to them for the WOC AP preview?????? As long as you have an AP (and OP does) then they can get tix for you ahead of time...lots of people helped out with that one...OP if I was going to be there that weekend I totally would do it for you but alas Im not...Im sure somebody will be though....good luck

After speaking with AP Member Services and expressing my frustration that I had to be there In Person, even though I'm in Utah and won't be there until after the deadline, they said "sorry for the inconvenience, but there is nothing we can do." I told him that he should pass on my frustration and concerns to the appropriate department then and he finally transferred me to Member Communications (where I could tell them my feedback). That department called the manager at AP Member Services who said no problem they could do it over the phone for me as an exception since we were out of state. Apparently the first cast member missed that memo or wasn't told of it, but we got our tickets!

I was told that at check in to get the wristbands, the AP holder who made the reservation HAS to be there and so do all 3 of the guests (each with their valid APs). They only required my AP number for the reservation. So, the only way to "share" the guest passes would be to meet up with the person who makes the reservation and all get the wristbands together. and thats exactly what I was getting at when I was talking about the WOC AP preview....you would be there anyway on the day of the show..you only needed someone to make the reservation for you right??? thats what everyone did...they met up with the extra people and they all got the wristbands together...glad it worked out for you though
