Are you a leader, follower or a loner

I like my time alone and need to make sure I take time for that.
I am a leader with my kids as I have homeschooled them all.
I am a leader in volunteer positions where I am supposed to be. But happily a follower where there is a leader in place.
I am a leader and a follower with my friends. There are a few of us who take turns putting together plans for the group.

This was an interesting question to ponder. Thanks Low-Key!

I've had to do all 3 at some point in my life but I think I enjoy the loner aspects most of all.

Loner for the most part. I enjoy the peace and quiet.

when my kids were growing up I was the leader of bake sales, book fair etc. Lots of school stuff.

I’m going to say follower, leader of my household, far from a loner. I have several friend groups, I’m rarely the one who makes the plans. I volunteer, but have no desire to head a committee.

I'm fortunate to have several longtime good friends that I see weekly, but I do tend to be a loner.

All three - depends what the situation calls for.

This is exactly me.

Although at work these days I am none of the above. I am a "doer". Doing all the things the nobody thinks about, doesn't want to do, or just come up and need to be done. I got marked down on my last evaluation for that....told I need to "find somebody else" to do those things. Most of the time there IS nobody else due to our current staffing levels. But my favorite is, many of those things were assigned to me by OTHER managers!

Leader. I guess that’s why I gravitated toward teaching. I get to be in charge! I also direct the school musical.
With my kids’ travel sports or activities, I tend to pull the parents together for meetings or the out of town dinners. I get annoyed when everyone just stands around saying, “Well, what do YOU want to do?” And it goes on and on. If someone has to take charge, I have no problem being the one to get the ball rolling.
It’s the same with my immediate and extended family. I tend to be a leader...not bossy...but a leader to move things along.

In my teens and early adulthood I was definitely a follower. Raising my sons and teaching I was more of a leader and now in retirement I'm happy to be a loner. :)

Loner in life. Leader at work. I do not lead by bossing people though, I usually just take action and get the job done.

Completely depends.

Basically, I don't like to be the leader, but I don't like situations where no one takes the bull by the horns, so if no one else will do it, I step up.

But I won't go in and take over. If someone has already stepped up, I will follow.

same here, but like to do stuff with people also, but I need some alone time everyday
This is me 100%. I definitely NEED my alone time every day. Its essential for my sanity. Im not a leader because i just dont care. :lmao: And im just not a good follower either because im never afraid to be alone (in fact, I embrace it).
