I am, or at least I try to be, Its like a challenge to me to see how much money I can save!
I really need to be saving as much money as I can right now so Im working over time with it!

I am no where near the kind of couponer some of my friends are though, I have a bit of a stockpile but some of my friends from the freebie board just blow me away with several shelving units FULL!!!

So do you coupon?

Yep. I'm not a total couponer, but I do have a stack saved and every month I check to see if I need to stock up on something. I gave DH a coupon for 25-cents for a spice, and he lost it! :( He had no idea why I was so upset -- it was just 25-cents, after all!

I sure do. I'm not one of those crazy couponers that researches all the sale papers and then goes from store to store to use their coupons on all the different sale items, but I do bring my coupon file to the one supermarket I'm shopping at.

I confess.

I clip and file coupons.

I prepare my list from the store that I want to shop at.

I pull coupons that correspond to the list and write ''C'" after the item.

I rewrite my list, with the C's in the order of the aisles so I don't take that long in the store.

I remove all expired coupons as I find them or at the end of each month.

Absolutely!

I look through the Grocery Store flyer each week to see what I'm going to buy and pull the corresponding coupons from my stash.

We get double coupons at the Giant, so it really adds up.

I try to use coupons but lately it seems like coupons for the products I use are$1.00 off when you buy 2 of the product and most of the time I dont' need 2 I only need 1! It kind of annoys me.

Yep, I am. Not near as good at it as some, but I'm getting there! :teeth:
I'm working on getting a stockpile going right now.

Did I write this? ;) That's exactly what I do!! The real trick is getting out of the store as quickly as possible because if you linger, you spend more!

Ahh, I have a soul sister in my weirdness... welcome to the family!

We're getting a lot better at it than in the past. These days, we don't buy too many things that aren't either on sale or that we have a coupon for. :)

Yes I use coupons, and I try to print coupons too if I find what I need. I have lost my coupon organizers twice, you have no idea how that upsets me. One thing I miss about my job, I don't get to clean up the sunday's leftover papers for coupons anymore, :(

bummer just called my paper and they wont let me come and take the left overs off their hands. man I could have made a killing like that!!

Any ideas on how to GET more coupons?

I have to hit up more of my friends I know lol.
kanga, I wrote my name and number on my organizer and someone was nice enough to turn it in to the CS desk last time I left it in the cart :)

thats valuable stuff in there!!

SO how do you keep your coupons? I know some serious couponers who use a binder system with baseball card holders and all. I just have a little coupon file system but I need to get more organized with that I think :)

Binny if you get the papered delivered try the paper guy. They get extras quite a bit.

I tried using the baseball cards holders. I really liked the idea but they were to small so I got the ones that hold pictures. I haven't don't it yet but I think it will work out.

Ok I'll probably get kicked off this thread - but

I find them
I clip them
I file them
and I NEVER USE THEM

I used to be super organized. Files by brand, expiration date, and other areas. I basically knew if I saw a brand at the store, if I had a coupon right away.. no flipping through in the middle of the store aisle.

Now, not many coupons I use are available. I have been ebaying my excess coupons.

binny, have you checked your library for extra coupons?

There are several libraries near me that keep boxes of coupons sorted by catagory. Many of the towns people drop off the coupons they don't use and volunteers sort and file them in the boxes.

They are available for anyone to take even if you don't drop any off.

I get a lot of extra coupons this way.!

I didn't know that people buy coupons on ebay. Cindy do you make money this way?
