Are you a bye person or an mmmbye person?

I have noticed that some people on the phone always say mmmbye instead of bye.

Which one are you? I'm a bye person or a good bye person. Never mmmbye.

If it's a friend or family member, it's sometimes k'bye. If it's more formal, it's always bye. I once worked with someone who always said bye bye. I always thought that was strange..

I'm a - See you later - person Or to loved ones always an - I love you - because you never know

I really have no idea what I say, I'll have to try and pay attention next time I talk to someone that isn't family because with them I always say "love you" One lady at work says "Bye now"

Usually just Bye, talk to you later and get off the phone. My Mom will go on and on and on and on if I don't do it that way.

There aren't too many folks I talk with on the phone anymore - most people I know text now.

I say bye, but what does being an adult have to do with it?
I just have a personal aversion to uhmm, ummm, hmmm, etc. It sounds like the user is either not confident in asserting their position or is being condescending in a passive aggressive way to the person they're replying to. Either of these seem juvenile to me. That's just my personal opinion.

I've never heard of mmmbye before. Maybe I need to pay better attention to phone conversations.

I find myself saying "okay bye".
