Are you a believer?

I've been watching some shows lately on Alien Abductions and UFO sightings. I've been a strong believer for a long time, but I'd like to know your opinions on the subject. Maybe you think there are in fact aliens out there, and that they have indeed visited us. Or maybe you believe they exist, but that they haven't visited us. Or maybe you don't believe them at all. Lets here your thoughts, shall we?

I don't know about aliens but I do believe that somewhere out in the far, far galaxy there are other living beings.

Well, let's use the world "aliens" to describe any form of life elsewhere in the universe.

I believe that is probably life on other planets/galaxies and I don't really know if they have visited us but I don't think they are going around abducting people either.

Have they visited Earth? Probably, and they couldn't get out of here fast enough!

The UFO's people see are our own government's experimental aircraft.

There was a special on Discovery (or TLC or one of those educational stations) over the weekend about alien abductions. The show "proved" that people who claim to have been abducted by aliens were really victims of a natural occurring magnetic force that can be caused by the shifting of plates in the earth.

An experiment was done on people who had no claims to have been abducted by or encounters with aliens. These people had some type of electrodes or something connected to their head and were subjected to the same type of magnetic force. This magnetic force effected part of their brain and they all claimed to feel paranoid, scared, paralyzed, etc. and they also described seeing an "alien" face or form.

I'm not saying this show proves there have been no abductions or encounters. Just a different perspective to think about!

I do think there is some kind of life in the universe. There has to be. For every grain of sand on a beach there are a million galaxies. That's alot of galaxies!

I want to believe that we are visited by beings from another planet. I think that would be so neat.

I don't think I believe in alien abductions, though. But it's lots of fun to read stories about that and watch movies about it.

I don't think we should be so pompous as to think that in this whole endless universe that we are the only living beings.

I also don't think we shoiuld be so conceited as to think anyone would want to come and abduct us.

I saw an interesting interview with David Duchovney several years ago. He said that he did not believe in aliens and that there would be no government cover-up if we did find aliens. Why? There would be no point in a cover-up.
