Today I met with the mom from
"I do not care to do any motherly things"

poor child in my class

mom's first comment to me is "He is just lazy"
padded with "Fail him! I told him he is going to fail."


Made me ever so much more kind to the boy
seeing what he is working with (against) at home

mom works nights
she "don't have time to worry about homework"

Boy is in his fifth school (4th grade)
and I learned today he used to have a full time wrap around
social services provided all day "aide"

hmmmmm


I don't think he is lazy at all
he is very bright
and always cheerful
willing to redo things (still not well)
never gets angry or irritable

a VERY likeable kid

don't know how he managed
with a mom like I met today

I was worried I lost you forever!

Good Luck with the rentals they are UNBELIVABLY high this year. I'm paying 250 at national, for midsize are bigger.... I paid 130 last year and in December for only 4 nights less then 100 bux.
I keep looking as I'm hoping to do better.

I found a minvan for 290/week but adding extra days kills...

so now I am going to check out my coupons
