DH's family, not so much
his mom is afraid of water
she used to be terrified of my kids jumping in and splashing around
now that they are all competitive swimmers
she rests a little easier!
though she has never been in our pool or any other that I know of in 30 years

(she still reminds me constantly that you can drown in a teaspoon of water)

she got several gift cards, books, and thing similar to BBW.
Speaking of cake we haven't even cut it yet.
We came home to late on the night of her birthday and then she went out last night. By the time she came home it was already midnight. So hopefully today we will eat some cake.
We got her cake from Dairy Queen, so I am wondering how good their cakes are?

Dinner is warming.
I settled on making a split pea soup, yes, even in this warm weather. And, I made vegetable cutlets.

Mom and I just watched Twilight...I enjoyed it but it was a bit different from the book...I have about 50 pages left to go so I hope to be finished with it tonight and starting book #2

There is one right by Kohls, and I saw some nice men's trunks there.
DS needs "regular" ones.
He has lots of fastskin tight ones,
not exactly what you wear lounging around the pool!
