Are we the only ones????

We just stayed at AKL for the weekend and were not thrilled with our accomodations! We ( all 4 of us actually) would rather of stayed at the All Stars!! We found the room to have crumbs on the floor, a towel had a very noticable sized hole in it, the area by the pool was still dirty the next morning from the night before ( dirty dishes on the tables from Mara's, assorted cups, dirty ashtrays, etc still on the chairs around the pool and the worst was the bird droppings on most of the chairs at the tables! I understand the All Stars have issues such as these but I expect them more at the lower prices resorts. The more expensive the resort, the better everything should be, IMHO. We also loved the variety available at the All Stars food court that Mara's did not offer.

The savana's were very nice and the animals were a great plus, I'm not trying to take anything away from them at all, but ........

Anyone else feel this way??????

So sorry for your experience!!! We have never had those problems or any other when we stayed there. It's our favorite resort and I can't imagine staying anywhere else!!!

So sorry you had problems there. We loved AKL. It is now our favorite resort and we will definitely go back. The only little problem we had were the enclosed "non-balconies" we first got. But after asking for different rooms they changed all three of ours with no problem at all. I hope you will try another stay there although I know how frustrating it can be not to be thrilled with a certain resort that everyone else raves about. The same thing happened to us at WL.
