Are we still allowed to ask for P&PD?

The way moods have been here recently, I'm not sure.

But if we are, I'd like to request some for DH's family. His grandmother is really, really sick and MIL was planning to go visit for lunch tomorrow. DH was going to go as well. But apparently GmIL has taken a turn for the worse today and doesn't want anyone but MIL to see her in that state, and GmIL doesn't even remember who DH is, so MIL is upset, FIL (assuming he knows what an emotion is) is upset -- it's his mom, DH is upset even though he's trying to hide it, I'm disappointed because this GmIL was my favorite even though we haven't seen her since the wedding. Things are rather stressful in the family right now and we all know that GmIL doesn't have much longer with us, but I'd appreciate y'all keeping us in your (good!) thoughts.
