Are we seeing things or is Ivan actually moving west according to this satellite img.

We hope for everyone in Florida that were not seeing things, but look at the satellite link because it sure looks like Ivan is moving more westerly than it was before. It looks like Ivan is still far enough away from Florida that if it continues to move in this direction it could go way left of Florida.

My news report keeps saying that once it pasts Cayman Islands then it is going to turn to Florida. Something about the air current isn't as strong there and won't be able to keep it going west any longer. We'll see.

Here is a projection of where it looks like it might hit. While it shows it still coming on land in Florida, it is much farther north than what the projections were showing the previous couple days. I sure hope it continues this west motion and doesn't hit Florida.

According to the NOAA it is just wobbling around. It still should turn toward the northwest or north after 48 hrs as a trough drops southward over the northern gulf coast and a subtropical ridge strengthens in the Atlantic.

Hope they're wong. I wish Ivan would just go west or better yet, just die off.
